@missineichen actually everything I've seen about Colin's political views shows him leaning more center-left than right. also he was asked about his views on the monarchy when he was on the Piers Morgan Tonight show in Feb 2011

aww.. they didnt wait for colin to answer the chinese guy's question about what he thinks the monarchy's role should be in peace time. It's an interesting question, given that colin is a republican :)
