Wow. Michael Barkann just summed it up. Burgers on the grill, kids in the pool, sea-gulls on the jersey shore and HK calling the game. I just teared up a bit. Go Phils!!!!!!

@luiscintron311, true I can hear Harry say Rooooy DOC Halladaaay (the way he used to say Micki Morandini)

to JGordon24Phillies: it is a true shame your a worthless human being who will amount to nothing... you cannot even type full words. I am truly sorry for your parents. Please go to your nearest bridge and jump the fuck off.
Sincerely, no one gives a fuck about your attempt to get a reaction.

Voice of the phillies, and overall great guy. He was always walking around the ballpark chatting with fans before games. The phillies lost their voice when Harry passed away.. he's still deeply missed. His statue will be unveiled at CBP this Tuesday.

His death came a year before Mariners analyst Dave Niehaus died, wasn't it?

I will NEVER forget where I was when I found out Harry Kalas died. It was about 2:30 and I had just gotten home from school to watch the Phillies game which started at 3ish that day. I turned on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia to see the pre-game show and the headline was that Harry had died. I was shocked and deeply saddened. I had baseball that night and I'm not a power hitter, I'm fast and can make good contact but on that night I blasted a home run for Harry. R.I.P Harry Kalas
Wow. What a piece of shit. You must be proud of yourself with that comment.

@knuckles1313 Eh, he kinda did. You could see he was holding back tears and did tear up. You're right, he didn't lose it, but I imagine he was crying before and between the broadcast and commercials and he's definitely a professional.
The Andersen interview/vid (w/ my other videos) is just depressing as hell to watch.
I interviewed LA and Franzke for stories for the paper when Kalas passed and then again one year later...For the initial LA interview, he was an emotional wreck on the phone.

@bleedorange2332 Some moron. There was another dislike before as well, I believe. Some Yankees fan also commented about being glad he's dead and something else terrible, but that was a year ago and it has since been deleted.
