My daughter performed in the Opening and our family were given tickets to the dress rehearsal for the opening. Never been so proud to be an Aussie!

@SSBull900 The rather average anthem title comes from bad publicity of ignorant people who just dont like the song.:-(
If you listen to the words, they describe this beautiful country perfectly...;-)

I didnt get to see this on the night and have never thought to look for it since, but OMG, this is mind blowingly AWESOME!!!
Anyone not proud to be an Aussie after this doesnt deserve to be called Australian!!!
Would be good if the football organisers could take a leaf out of the 2000 Game's organiser's book and have people to do even a half way classy job on Grand Final Day...;-)

Best rendition of a rather average Anthem.
I'm Aussie, and I'd gladly look at other alternatives to Advance Australia Fair.
I still sing it with pride though :D

@JesseMack112 Well Jesse, that's exactly how I feel every time I listen to it (and thank God I am deaf. I like my music LOUD!!!) But the odd thing is, I am not even an Australian, Just a very thankful immigrant.
