Surely the most fun you can have with 50p is buying a 50p bus ticket in the opposite direction of a Dave Gorman gig

@zeppy13131 It's spelt Biro, but if you don't know what one is, you're not going to know that. Anyway, a Biro is a ball point pen. It's actually a brand name but is commonly used as meaning any ball point pen, in the same way some people use the word "Hoover" to mean a vaccum cleaner and "Jacuzzi" to mean hot tub.

Who ate all the pies Dave?

@Hazelduke so i take it you've never had someone you were dating make you food.
basically, the general ruling is as follows-
a) you eat the food, say you like it (whether that was a lie or not is up to you) and continue dating.
b) you say no to the food before you've eaten it, and do the same to every other bit of food that they make you. this causes the other party to feel unloved, and under-valued.
and that, as i am sure you are aware, is grounds for a break-up.
good day to you, sir.

What the heck is a Byro?

If you buy a 2nd class stamp you only have 14p left over for a postcard.

W-wait, "forced"?
Did they threaten to shank him with a sharpened week old baguette?
Or maybe a cake constructed of lead would fall on his head if he paused in eating?
Or croissants held his mouth open?
Sorry, it's probably a very serious and complex relationship, the nature of which I'll never understand.
However... if you can hold the mental image of a man running away from lazer shooting cupcakes and not laugh, you ain't much human.
Mon dieu, he's eaten a few pies!

@81Mace81 He talked about this when I saw him on stage last night. He got married to someone who likes baking, so was 'forced' to eat all the stuff she made. Now he's stopped with the cake, I'm pleased to report he's slimmer. Not that his size matters, of course.
