  • very nice. Do you use more than one finger on your right hand or is it all index finger walking through it?

  • @Kobadeess

No I alternate between the first two fingers on the right hand when i play it at full speed..

  • Wow, 2 minutes ago i didn't have a scoobie. Now i'm playing it like a pro. Thanks from over in scotland! :)

  • @Equipe3v

Thanks a million mate - much obliged!

  • Why open A? Why not A on the E string?

  • @Headrush13

because if you slow down the original you can hear its an open A and also because it would slow you up too much to play the A on the E string

But do it whatever way works for ya.

  • thanks for the lesson... to fast to comprehend it on the original track!

  • Can you do a lesson for Everything after the guitar solo? Please thank you good lesson

  • @d3rjackal

Not so much a tone difference, but definitely a difference in tone colour.

It's marked if you play them one by one even in perfect tune.

It's the difference between the strings. Each string has a different tone colour because they're different thicknesses and whatnot.

  • @headrush. there is a noticable tone difference between an open A and the fretted A on the E string. Also knowing Geddy's playing techniques helps. :)

  • @mindhead2005

Wow, you can actually tell it's an open A by listening? If you're all tuned up though, wouldn't the quality be the same? How can you tell?
