Everyone who thinks Zmeskal didn't deserve to win is silly. Her floor was WAY better than Boguinskaia. Yeah she didn't pirouette on bars.....but she had two releases. Beams were the same, vaults were the same. When it comes down to floor....there is NO question Zmeskal was better. She proved it here, and then proved it in 92 at Worlds as well.

I was half expecting Betty Okino to be given a ten on that last vault. The scoring all through seemed to be more about fitting an agenda than judging actual merit.

Not to say that Zmeskal shouldn't have won however.

Of all the Worlds and Olympics AA winners, I consider Kim the MOST deserving of all of them. This was her night, her competition. Especially when you consider her career fell apart shortly after this - and she was SUCH A GOOD GYMNAST. In another time and place she could have gone on to be one of the greatest that ever lived. I love the 91 Worlds.

Are you simple? Her UB, BB, and FX scores were absolutely absurd. Her FX score went 9.950 in TF, jumped to 9.987 in AA, and went back down to 9.950 for AA. She scored 9.950 on BB in TF for a very good set, yet she had a full arm swing on her gainer layout in the AA, complete with a fake 'stick' and scored 9.962? She was one of the weaker UB workers of the top AA contenders, if no THE weakest, yet she scored the second highest of the night on that event. Get a clue, bitch.

Sydney was just such a weird, pointless competition. Honestly I don't consider any of those results valid. After the vault debacle, they should've started over.Then the whole cold tablet...the official gold medalist (Simona) won't accept the gold, then she does & gives it to Andreea..jeez, what a b*llsup. Then (recently) you find out that one of the Chinese gymnasts was underage & FIG is recommending that the IOC vacate the Chinese team results & give the bronze...complete mess. Just start over.

I like Bogi's form but I REALLY HATE that one foot in front of the other crap, it looks sloppy and it irritates me that they brush it off by calling it her "trademark." Sloppy landings are your trademark?
