  • What a fitting eulogy from Rach in Tchaikovsky's memory!

Rach was only 20 when he composed this... from 4:30, a massive expression of sorrow... really penetrating...

This is the definitive performance of the D minor, incredible trio.. incredible artists! TY for the post :)

  • Came here because of Michelle Kwan's Rachmaninoff performance. Beautiful music.

  • GOD DAMN! this kind of music should be banned and made illegal for melting my heart. What would music be without The Rach? man what a guy. Cannot believe he was human...

  • Just beautiful. The music & the paintings. Does it get any better than Rachmaninoff? I don't think so. :)

  • Immensely beautiful performance. Painfully and agonizingly beautiful.

    Thank you for sharing :-)

  • @MrLindenson The pianist is Evgeny Svetlanov. And he was more famous as the main conductor of USSR state symphony orchestra. Check him out! He is an outstanding musician!!!

  • I see stars...

  • Yay Michelle Kwan!
