Frankel is clearly a sprinter who can win at 1 mile. If he lines up for the top sprints for the rest of the season he will destroy them base on todays run
Is he the next Brigadier Gerard, as many are beginning to state?
Maybe - but he's a long way to go, if he's going to match The Brigadier. He did well in the Guineas, but The St. James's Palace wasn't exactly a procession. The again, Brigadier Gerard only just won it too - in his hated soft ground.
My big question is, can Frankel beat the field over a longer distance in a Group 1? say The Eclipse - or King George and Queen Elizabeth? My guess is - no.
I think this really does show what a beast among 3yr.old's that Frankel is. Marco Botti's horse, Excelebration, has really improved markedly this season. Having bolted up to win the German 2000 Guineas by a street after he ran in the Greenham. But Frankel really just toyed with him in this race. There's some very decent 3yr.old's in the UK this season. But Frankel's entirely in a league all his own. His 2000 Guineas win proved that. He'll likely never be tested until he faces older horses, IMO.
@leemuzz, LOL, not the first time I've ever been foolish at the window's!! Believe me, Frankel's more than made a believer out of me. He really is a freak of nature. One of those type's of horses that an owner or trainer can only dream come's along once in a lifetime!!
@Pactrolus, LOL, that would probably be an accurate statement of Frankel was going to race on until he was a 10yr.old!! LOL.

@GBeret83 I think he will only be tested when he faces younger horses. i.e. when he is a ten year old!

@GBeret83 Pathfork to overtune Frankel? Easy to say in hindsight, but what particular piece of form were you looking at?
There's still people doubting this horse after the Guineas, he's a phenomenon that the game needs.
Enjoy him whilst he's around.
