The Wuchiu （in Chinese：乌坵/乌丘）islands comprise two major islands, namely Bigger Chiu and Smaller Chiu（in Chinese： 大坵、小坵/大丘、小丘）, in the west of Taiwan Strait. Administratively, Wuchiu is part of Putian, Fujian（Fukien）Province of China（in Chinese：福建莆田）.

Because of the Chinese Civil War from 1946-1945, Wuchiu has been under the governing of taiwan authorities of China provisionally，as well as some other islands of Fujian （such as Kinmen and Matsu）.

So it is clear that, together with Taiwan, Penghu (Pescadores), Kinmen and Matsu, Wuchiu belongs to China. As for the "PRC" and "ROC"——the name of different dynasties of China during certain periods, shortly speaking, neither is "country"; both belong to China.
