Josh Baer (CS'99), a Carnegie Mellon University alumnus and managing director of Capital Factory, an Austin, Texas incubator, laid out his top-ten tips for starting a company at the Project Olympus Show and Tell 15. Baer was one of several entrepreneurs presenting at the Show and Tell showcase, which highlighted cutting-edge campus research and the latest Project Olympus start-ups.

Part of Greenlighting Startups, Project Olympus was founded in 2007 by Lenore Blum, distinguished career professor of computer science, to help hopeful campus entrepreneurs explore the commercial potential of their innovations. Greenlighting Startups is uniquely designed to CMU's culture of entrepreneurship and new business creation.
