I think its nicely done, but when it comes down to it just get an instructor, especially for higher level type skiing

To add to my last comment, you will of course be putting weight on your downhill ski, please don't think that isn't important. But by teaching two leg rotation right from the start will enable you to finish the wedge turn with skis parallel.

please leave teaching to professional instructors. 1- instead of talking about putting pressure on your skis, you really should have been talking about rotational movements.
Roatational movement should have begun from the first wedge turn. By this stage when you want your skis to become parallel, you keep rotating the inside leg (rotate it out) and it becomes parallel. Sliding it in next to your DH ski or lifting/stepping it in is not only wrong but you have less control.

This is the long, round about way to learn parallel. There are much faster methods.
