Mike Rose 1932-2006

In memory of the artist Mike Rose. He was a painter, set designer and writer. Mike Rose displayed abstract, written- and drawn- paintings, collages, objects and sculptures in approximately 200 exhibitions in the following cities:Berlin, Castrop-Rauxel, Frankfurt/Main, Kassel, Cologne, Munich, Nuremberg, Plauen, Nice, Paris, Starsbourg, Bologna, Zürich, Bern, Graz, Budapest, Boston, New York and San Franzisko. He established the didactic Gallery Studio M in Bamberg. In 1972 Mike Rose made acquaintance with the Lettrists and became part of them. He participated in their exhibitions until the 1980s.
