Ruiner Pinball - Atari Jaguar

Ruiner Pinball is 1 of 2 pinball games for the Jaguar.
People are split between which game is the better one, but after playing Ruiner, I think I like Pinball Fantasies better.
Ruiner Pinball has nice tables, though.
I only played the one table, but it's cool how you can hit it up a ramp and it goes over to another parallel table. I've never seen that before.
No matter which game is better, Ruiner is worth the money if you like pinball games.

I have both Pinball games for the Jaguar, and I prefer Ruiner Pinball. The tables are more interesting than those in Pinball Fantasies (although you get five tables with it). Of the two tables with Ruiner, I prefer Tower. Multiball is quite an experience with it, as the camera zooms way out to show the whole tower.

Cool looking pinball game. A somewhat sparse table for my taste, but it more than makes up for that with the innovative design: parallel tables, and smooth zooming. Much more interesting than Pinball Fantasies(though that one looks to be at least decent).

the other half of the game "Tower" is much better. It's 3 levels tall and is more forgiving.

At 0:36 it sounds like a fart lol. Yeah i was never a big Pinball fan but this one looks good thou the sound is somehow disturbing.

And also this was the first game HVS did using their custom C compiler setup for the Jags RISC chips that our community would kill to get their hands on now. :(

Am I seeing things or does High Voltage Software have the entire table spinning and scaling out very fast in this game? A testament to HVS being one of the top developers for the Jag. Never played it but it looks great with the planes etc. This looks more like video pinbal with stuff that couldnt be done in real life where as Pinbal Fantasies is a Pinball Simulator.

I agree about the parallel table idea. Very neat. The other table isn't quite as good, in my opinion, as one section of it just feels really, really dead in comparison to the rest. I love this game! Great vid!
