Ubuntu 9.10 - intel i7 - Dual gForce 275 GTX (SLI off)

Just fart'n around. The 1st vid I play has vdpau enabled for mplayer (video decoding off-loaded to GPU), this caused some slight stutter when doing any compiz graphics but was fine when fullscreen or just in a window. 2nd try has vdpau off and using the normal xv for mplayer, no stutter at all. After that I just mess around showing some of the features of the compiz enabled workspace.

Oh the reason I have SLI off is that vdpau will work with it on but I notice a little image tearing.

If you look in the Edit menu under profile preferences, on the background tab you will see the transparent background radio button and the opacity slider. Have fun :o)
