Notice how when she lit the candle the smoke was flowing freely out the bottom of the candle. NOT out of the top as it would if an actual suction were being created; even creating a seal with the candle in your ear will do nothing to stop this. Ear candles do not work, in fact many injuries from hot wax dripping into the ear have been reported. Also the wax that you may see if you cut the candle open is not earwax, it is wax from the candle.

Even if these candles did work (and they don't), why would you want to remove earwax like that? Your earwax is there for a reason; there's no need to resort to crazy incendiary devices to remove it. Just use a finger and a towel, or carefully use a q-tip.

Dangerous and stupid nonsense. Try burning the same candle with out putting it near your ear and you will see the same waxy deposits on the inside.
