  • What a different America we had back then and a different culture. How sad that it's all gone now.

  • @LosAngeleno1959...I agree with that! Thanks for commenting...glad you enjoyed it! :))

  • A beautiful classic!

  • @LosAngeleno1959 i am norvegian and i loove this song!! a gift from my moyher....

  • What a great ending to a terrific movie. I believe her emotions shown here reflect her real emotions (many of them mixed) she felt at that time. They loved each other so much. Thanks for posting.

  • Yo creo que esta es la mejor versión del tema "Indian love call" I have never heard. When I was 15 years old I heard this famous song by Nelson Eddy and Jeanette Mac Donald. Me gustó tanto que cada vez que la escucho me quedan ganas de escucharla una y otra vez más. Saludos desde Bogotá. Colombia

  • This really brings back memories. I first heard it as a child on an old 78 record.

  • Goodness me , Ms Macdonlad's 3rd above harmonies are electric- '...I will be blue and waiting all alone...; The two notes on the word 'blue' - send shivers down the spine! Also, how they both perfectly shift between main melody and harmony in the final verse, simply adds to the beauty of this inestimable lovesong.

  • I wonder how they would sound with all todays modern equipment-as they are with sound equipment being what it was they still manage to be head and shoulders above any modern singers xxx

  • Miss MacDonald... I think I was ten when I first fell in love with her... this reminds me not of America, Im British, but of my childhood and now at 54yrs I can honestly say that the reality of my life has come as nothing to that dream in my childhood.

  • I'm related to him :)

  • My grandmother absolutely loved Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy, and I see why. I am a musician in the Chicago area and truly appreciate the greatness of this work. America was such a different place then!
