Hello! Here's a cover of Rolling Sly Stone live in Hide Park. In this video i'm using my new Sansamp bass driver deluxe, i'm veeery happy :). At the beginning you can see my settings.
Thanks a lot for watching!
And sorry for mistakes, don't have enough time to make a better take...

P.S.: The pickup is a Firekeeper, done by this liuther

  • What kind of bass is it? It's look like a musicman stingray but there is no logo musicman on it's head and the micro doesn't seem to be the original one. Is it a real modified stingray or is it an imitation. Anyhow, it's sound great (the bass and you). Would you mind telling me the trademark of the micro?

    Thank you for your reply.

  • @albattard Thanks for the commment man, as i wrote in my profile this is a really economic bass, it's an Eko mm300, with a replaced neck (also very economic, eden brand) and pickup: it's an Alnico V hand-made by a young italian liuther, aka Prometeus Guitars, very able, he makes awesome basses and pickups. In the video description you can see his youtube channel, ask him directly.

Last but not least i use a self made 2 band onboard preamp, a copy of the early stingray basses' preamp.

    See you

  • Dude really good cover when I want to hear this song i hear your cover instead of the original lol...

  • @ohad156 That's really awesome to me mate :)

  • would it be possible for you to share the settings you used on your sansamp for this song? it would be kind of you! ;)

otherwise, it's another great cover, I really enjoy your cover, even if I don't comment so often.. cheers!

  • @DavidSinRocks Do you really enjoy my cover? Wow... :) I showed my settings on sansamp at 0:05-0:09 (really low quality pic, damn phone) :

drive, presence and blend all way down, bass at 12 o'clock, treble at 13:30-14 o'clock, level 15 o'clock.

But i think with another bass may sounds different: with onboard preamp i boosted bass at 1/2 and treble at 1/4.

That's all, hope it could be helpful,

thanks a lot for the comment.

  • fantastic man

  • emc ??

  • Really great!!!

  • I love the sound of your bass, it fits perfectly to the song. Right now I have a US jazz bass, and I think my new one might be a Music man :)
