The GRIP-S Survival Tool is a pair of universal handles capable of holding a multitude of useful tools needed for field expedient improvisation beyond the capabilities of todays domestic-use multi-tools. Designed for ultimate adaptability, durability and simplicity, Grip-S can hold any of the standard flexible wire saws, any universal shank saw blades (increasing your capability to cut and fabricate beyond wood including dense plastics, various metals, and even masonry and stone), and any round or hexagonal tools up to a quarter inch in diameter (including standard hex bits, metal files, drill bits, awls, etc.). Grip-S are machined out of billet 6061 aluminum for long-lasting strength, and hard anodized to resist corrosion and abuse in the field.

Unexpected emergencies do not always occur in virgin forests, and your ability to work with the materials you have at hand, including many manmade plastic and metallic components, can make all the difference in the world for success or failure. Thanks for your comments. We think there's nothing quite like this on the market. It's very well made, and allows you to tailor your kit to include those tools you feel you will need most, in a variety of situations. Unlike traditional "multi-tools", this one has a smaller profile at its base form, and you decide what, exactly, you will incorporate to make the best use of it.

I like the idea behind this one... I keep several small tool kits in my extended EDC bag. they are small, but so useful that I use them all the time rather than using my normal tools. the Grips looks like it would fit right in with the gear I carry and use. I may have to test and review it when the economy improves.
