  • Our society is breaking down. The city of Detroit is removing the question about felony convictions on it's job applications because so many Detroiters are felons. Not giving a felon a job is discrimination?

  • The Buffalo News should make a change in the community by giving these same arrogant teenagers a voice outside of the streets.

  • in all fairness white people have to get over it ....they are NOT that important in the scheme of "WHITEEZ FAULT" as it pertains to what WE as blacks must be responsible for. the point mr. jackson is making it that if you publish info of ones crimes/sins then be fair in publishing those that are NOT BLACK...even evil has fairness...we are not a people that assumes identities but search for what was RIPPED/STRIPPED from us...educated urself..research of history is most rewarding....

  • many peoples grandparents from alabama/georgia brought this mentality with them and being satisfied to simply provide a roof and food for their family they submitted to a lesser form of racism for it was more tolerable than where they had ran from, left from...so you have hard working blacks in buffalo who still operate with this mentality brought over 50yrs ago. An Aaron Jackson is a strange fruit to many but a delicious bitter sweet needful medicine....SELAH!

  • historically Buffalo NY has always been a segregated and racist city. do not be deceived it will always continue to be. there exist an intelligent and gifted community of BLACKS in Buffalo and of course those that have not realized this very fact. that being said, ones such as Mr. Jackson gives a voice to the voice-less period. Evil prevail when good men do nothing. What we have is a transplanted generational mentality from the deep south of the HOUSE NIGGA and in the year of our LORD 2010

  • @surgedark the issue is of fairness. The Buffalo News is biased. It's been biased.Ive lived in Buffalo all my life. Aaron was making a valid point. News outlets should be objective and the Buffalo News is not, and never will be. I don't think you understand Mr.Jacksons argument at all. They report events in this city unfairly that is the point.

  • How dare Ms. Sullivan point out the criminal past of BLACK victims and NOT do the same for WHITE victims....

Get a grip Surgedark... this has everything to do with RACE!!!

  • Ms. Sullivan pointed out the Criminal Past of those 4 individuals that were shot and killed outside of City Grill.. while the KILLER was still on the loose... wouldn't that have been a better story??? And as well, what did their Criminal Past have to do with the fact that they were murdered??? Isn't that for the court of law to determine?? The real issue lies in the FACT that The Buffalo News strategically leaves out the CRIMINAL PAST of deceased WHITE VICTIMS.... do you think that's fair???

  • @mizzpicklezz

Oh, so you propose that we don't report the facts to make black people seem better? I get it, in the black community, truth and logic doesn't go well if it is against blacks, is that it?

  • How dare Sullivan point out the truth about black crime!
