  • I don't think his upbeat is very clear – I mean, where exactly does the upward stroke start? Really, one beat should be conducted, highlighting the ictus bounce at the correct tempo, prior to the first beat, starting from a preparation point parallel to the point of the downbeat.

  • Hahaha!!!

  • The world of conductor training if full of bad advice. This is more of the same.

  • @sstuddert lol funny

  • "let's try that again", yes, I think you had better try that again.

  • gli Americani pensano di poter fare tutto e anche di poterlo insegnare agli altri... e si dimenticano di avere una storia così breve e di aver esportato solo Coca Cola e la guerra.....

  • Well, I have a Masters Degree in Conducting and have been conducting orchestras, bands and choirs for over 40 years and I can tell you this is a very poor series for teaching conducting! His styles is very stilted. It has no feeling of "organic flow" -- in short it is stiff. And there are as many ways of handling a cutoff as there are conductors who conduct! The same goes for every thing else he demonstrates.

  • This is really bad technics!

  • funny guy

  • Oh dear -- please keep studying!!
