Interesting format, no guitar solo at all - kind of a daring move. Like some of the other odd songs on this album it fits with the times, it has a bit of that "Debby Harry" melodic rock that was on the air in the early 80s. But the timing was probably just a bit late, Michael Jackson and New Wave were pushing mainstream radio in a different direction by then.
