GSU Defeats ASU 54-7 with Paul Johnson's Triple Option offense directed by Mike Sewak. GSU averaged over 51 points a game going into the game as they kept up their average and DESTROYED ASU on the way to the 2004 Playoffs.

How can anyone call App State "Crap State"? They have 3 national championships in A ROW, GS loses to App all the time and they beat Michigan... do you think there are any other FCS teams that could go into the Big House next week and just beat Michigan like its a cake walk?

We beat app state the year they beat Michigan. They beat us by a couple of points last year because we could not complete the last second pass from the redzone to win the game. App is a good team but they have a really long way to go before they can reach the amount of playoff wins and national championships of Georgia Southern.

GSU Vs. App State is the best rivalry in socon. We have 2 very similar teams, every game we have is close. Good luck coming to our house on Black Saturday this year. Gotta say were gonna win though with a senior Armanti Edwards, Quick and Coco. GO APPS!!!

Yeah I remember after this game wishing that ASU was a better match for us, Man how things have changed, it made me really enjoy the good times because they are not forever! Good to see the SoCon doing well in the post season.
