  • ha ha...thats funny and great at the same time...well done graemey...

i built a similar wah into a pedal and had the ldr mounted in the top...i just covered it with my foot..a virtual wah....with a normal flat box...great.

  • Yeah! Great idea! G

  • I just bought one of these off eBay for £3. The only fault it has is the light resistor doesn't work apparantly, do you know if it is possible to replace the light resistor?

  • Make sure the LDR is faulty by testing it with a meter. It should be simple enough to make a new one. LDRs can be bought at any electronic store. You could mount it in a jack plug. G

  • is the wah wah still production?

  • No, this one is from the early 90's. G

  • thought it was a joke to start off

  • all mikes' stuff is fully "want"able!!!!

  • We love this!

  • I could see noise artist going crazy with this thing.

  • i still keep this!

wah-wah play like the talkbox, funky!!

i need rubber cap for optical sensor tho.

  • That's gay. Hehe. Me and beavis stay away...

  • I invented and designed this gizmo. You can also hold it in your pick hand while playing guitar. It shipped with replacement plastic sleeves to go over the sensor for hygenic reasons, and the idea was to offer them for sale separately. As to why not use a pedal, well with mouth control you can get more nuance. And yeah, you do need some ambient light for it to work, the thinking was there'd probably be a spotlight available on stage...

  • this is the most ridiculous invention i've ever seen.
