Martha's Vineyard Excited for Obama Vacation

President Obama kicks off a week long vacation in Martha's Vineyard Sunday, putting the island off Cape Cod back on the map as a Presidential retreat. The AP's Jason Bronis reports the First Family's impending arrival has the Vineyard hopping. (Aug. 21)

Maxine Waters, exasperated and sputtering with frustration, complains to the Congressional Black Caucus that President Obama offers no leadership on jobs when black America is cearly hurting. Further, she asks: why didn't he stop in any black communities on his bus tour?

The president assures us that he will have a jobs proposal ready in September; just sit tight. In the meantime, where do the Obamas vacation? On an exclusive island full of wealthy white people--where else?

Here he is spending millions of our tax payers monies , staying at the most expensive resorts, using our government planes taking his staff with him while millions are out of work. What a unfeeling selfish couple they must be. The Queen and King of England, when under bombing every night in London would not leave the city. They said" they would not desert their people in their time of need" they stayed and worked and visited the bomb sites and comforted their people.
