  • Why aren't more straight men like Dave Ball? So nice to see a hetro man completely centered in his sexuality. If more were then befriending a gay man wouldn't matter. Sadly, I still have to walk some straights through it to make them feel secure in where they stand with others.

  • So many Marc Almond interviews. How many with Dave? 1.

  • I wish he'd have talked more about his music. Stuff like what his first synth was, why he chose to make synthpop, and what equipment he used live. I wonder if there is more to this interview somewhere.

  • These guys are my life.

  • yep dave is hot and always has been,

  • top fella!....

  • wish he was gay-he was & is soooooooooo cute!

  • Now, that's a man who has aged quite nicely. I like that deep voice.

  • @johnlennonsalive It's fab that a staright man was big enough to stand big and do what dave did! A great pop band, consistenty of two great people gave us so much! there's nothing else to talk about! Okay!

  • Never had a lot of time for Dave in the 80's - he never seemed comfortable with the whole New Romantics thing ... looking back I add 'thank the heavens' ... after Soft Cell Dave hung out with Genises P. Orridge giving the 'Anti Gay We Hate Soft Cell' mob much oxygen to fan their rabid dysfunctional view of the world! Wish Dave had spoken out earlier; ironically SC were signed to 'Some Bizarre', if that was the labels attitude to 'gay' artists then hang your head in shame Stevo Pearce.
