Well at least he has a coccotte to cook it in.

@ditttch I second that. Julia is NOT about one pot cooking or quick and easy...she is about taste!
-
It looks yummy to me! It's funny, except for the bacon and drying the meat, I've been making Julia's recipe for years without knowing it! LOL

The presentation is a little rough around the edges but you kinda represent how us normal folks cook in our kitchens. I for one found it refreshing. Thanks for your efforts.

@GoldenBlue437 Why do you call it Julia Child's recipe if you don't come close to following hers? If you are going to just stick your head in the fridge and find whatever you have left that's too old to figure out what it is, toss it. This is the trailer trash version for sure. Hey, don't be lazy and stir on the oven rack. Put it on the counter and do a proper job.

Very stripped down version of this recipe. I hate to sound like a crybaby, but you really need to remove "Julia Child" from the title of this video, it's an insult to her. Don't get me wrong, I would gladly eat what you made. It looks good and I bet it's tasty, but the fact is that what you made here is only a small step above fast food. It should not be connected to Julia Child.

@fildf finally watched again to find the reference - bruschetta is grilled bread rubbed with garlic and a drizzle of olive oil - or you just didn't like the pairing? anyway thanks for checking out the video .
