  • And now 59 years later, the SF Giants are the 2010 World Series Champions.

  • Brooklyn or Los Angeles Dodgers......all the way back to 1888, or whenever? they were even donning uniforms in Brooklyn, at the time George Custer was marching toward the Little Big Horn, in 1876, still and they always have been the classiest, fairest, most impartial baseball club in american history.....love them as a child, will to my dying day......long live the Dodgers.....win or lose

  • RIP Bobby Thomson

  • Keep the runner off 2nd base and hide your signs if you don't want them stolen.

  • It would kinda be cool if these two teams where still in New York. the rivalry in todays time would be awesome.

  • Sign stealing was not illegal at that time, and it was a very common practice. So arguing that the pennant is tainted is ridiculous.

  • Said Branca when interviewed in 2001 by the New York Times about the stolen sign, ''I've known it since 1954, but I never said anything. I didn't want to cry over spilled milk. I became friendly with Bobby and I didn't want to demean his home run. I didn't want to cheapen any moment in baseball.''

It's quite clear but it doesn't matter in the long run - the Giants haven't done shit since 1954 except choke.

  • well, Bobby says they didn't steal the signs un the playoffs. he hit a homer in Ebbets off Branca in game one. no sign stealing there. only 1 Giant said he got the sign. watch the HBO special. There is no * in the record books. It says NY Giants 1951 NL champs and always will.

  • Yeah, but it's a whole hell of a lot easier when you know what being thrown.

  • Duke Snider says it doesn't matter of you know what's coming, you still have to hit it .
