Depression can cloud my assessment of reality. I'm then too hard on myself. Communicating on video left me able to see more clearly. Compared to the past, I'm wonderfully improved. I can still improve but my negativity was not warranted to that extent on my previous video.

  • Its great to see this video. I know what you mean about what you think like when in the low/depressed state. I tend to get depression that can last over 4 weeks so i get that alot. My last manic stage was in feb/march... i think when manic i over emphasize everything in the good way and when depressed i see everything in a dark way. Its annoying!

It's good to see that you realised things wern't as bad as you thought.

  • It gets hard to stop being mentally confused. I find externalizing by doing YouTube very helpful. You're so kind.

  • It's great to know you are on You Tube. Depression and life with mental illness can be very difficult. I will keep trying to be nicer to myself!

  • Great to see this video too. Your book even looks like how my books look lol. Good on you for talking yourself out of the hard on yourself trap. I do that a lot too, Taking control of your thought processes is the way forwards!! XX

  • Thanks very kindly for the encouragement and the big HURRAY! :-)

  • I know! It's terrible to believe thoughts are accurate and to then have time pass and then gain a proper frame of mind.

  • I don't get severe depression where I'm down for months but even a bit of depression scares me. I hope you are okay.

  • I also use music to keep my mood up and have positive thoughts.

  • It means a lot to hear I've made your morning better! Thx

  • Thanks for watching and commenting. It's always good to hear from you.
