Stop the World:Chapter 6

Nick's POV
Today after school Miley actually had a family party that she had to go to,and she couldn't bring me. I was happy for that. I finally have a day to myself.I was just sitting in my room with my guitar. I can't remeber the last time I've been able to have my space. I told Joe that I wanted to tak to him after he took Arianna home. Joe walked in and sat on my bed "Hey, bro what did you want to talk about?" he asked. "Miley," I said. "Again? did you have another fight?". "No, but I'm thinking about breaking up with her." I told him. "Finally!, I didn't want to say anything, but seriously how can you be with her?". "That's exactly what I've been thinking about lately,I've realized that she doesn't care about me, and she doesn't respect you,Frankie,Kevin,and our parents.I can't take any of it anymore." I confessed. I felt like a weight was lifted off my chest. "No offense,but it took you long enough." Joe said. "I know, and I realized something else too...". "And whats that?" he asked. "I like Mikayla." I said waiting for his reaction. He didn't look surprised. "It's about time you realized it." he said. "Why did it take you so long? Everyone thinks that you and her are perfect for each other." Wow I haven't heard that .''Really how come no one has ever said anything to me ?". "We all thought you would figure it out, and then you started going out with Miley, and we wanted you to make your own decisions and not have us influence you." he said. I understood. They wanted me make my own decisions, but I still wished they would have said something, then I could have realized this a lot sooner. "I understand. But now I'm debating wheter to tell Mikayla about how I feel." I said. "What I think is that you should. Nick,Mikayla knows you better then anyone, even better then me and Kevin." It's true. We have a lot in common music,movies,books,and outlooks on life. We grew up with each other and used to be inseparable. And even though we aren't as close as we used to,we still talk about everything. ''You're totally right." I said. Joe smiled. "Of course I am." he said jokingly. Then he asked "So what are going tell Miley?". "I'm going to tell her the truth. That I don't think she cares about me,and that she doesn't respect my family. It's the least I can do." "What if she doesnt take it well?" Joe asked. "Then I just have to tell I'm sorry but this how I feel,and I'm not changing my mind." "Well then,I think you're good about what to tell Miley, but what about Mikayla? How are you going to tell her?" Joe asked. "I'm working on it." I said and smiled.

Mikayla's POV
Usually on friday nights me and all the girls have a sleepover but a lot of them had family things to go to so we decided to wait until next weekend.But we did have plans for a saturday night movie. So after school I just went home. I ate,watched a little t.v, then did my homework. I wanted to get it over with so I didn't have to worry about it later. After I was done I cleaned my room listening to my No Doubt cd. When my favorite song Hella Good came on,I couldn't help but sing along and dance. During the song my phone rang. I looked at the number and I panicked. It was Taylor Lautner. I turned the song down a little bit and answered it. "Hello?". "Hey Mikayla,It's Taylor." he said. "Hi,whats up?" . "No thing much,I was just wondering if tommrow would be good for you to give me that tour?". I didn't have anything planned until nighttime so I thought whay not. "Yeah thats perfect. Can we make it a day thing? And then you can join me and my freinds to a movie at night." I think the girls would be ok with it. "That sounds great. Since you're being nice and showing me around town, I'll pick you up at your palce,and take you home after the movie." Aww he is such a gentleman. "You don't have to do that," I told him. ''It's ok,it's the least I can do,plus i want too." he told me. "Alright.You can meet me at my place at noon and we can go to lunch." I said. "Sounds good.Are you listening to Hella Good by No Doubt?" he asked. "Yeah, it's my favorite song by them." "Thats cool.I like them too." after that we spent the next hour talking about other things we had in common. Then we said out goodbyes. Wow what a day. Then I thought What I'm going to wear tomorrow?!

Nick's POV
After me and Joe had our conversation he left and I went back to writing. I opened my window to let air into my room when I heard a familiar song. I looked outside and say that Mikayla's window was open (our bedroom windows faced each others) and I recognized the song. It was Hella Good by No Doubt. It was her favorite from them. She was dancing and singing along like no one was watching. I watched her for a little bit. I smiled, she looked cute rocking out.
