Oxford Gypsy Services is contracted to carryout the eviction work and breach the Human Rights of the Gypsy Traveller Communities for Bucks County Council. The manager states that he is wrong and central government is wrong. The question is if he thinks its wrong why continue?

I hate pikeys as much as most people but my mum made a point the other day that I can't find an answer to, she said that it was the same situation with black people not too long ago; until people give them a chance, they WILL be violent and bad mannered and unhygienic. I always thought i'd see straight through racism if I wa saround at the time but maybe this is a similair situation...

That is sad to see, but then during late 70's it was made that every town n city was tp provide sites for Travellers Romas etc. soon as all sites were built and used the goverment then took their planned actions to criminalise roadside, once that law got passed, low and behold the law of 'every town and city' law became abolished. emmm makes ya wonder.

This situation within the UK is intolerable for the travelling community. What can non-travellers do to show their support for travellers? Useful suggestions would be welcome, many thanks.
