I wear gloves when working sheet metal. I have scars to remind me why.

There is nothing that I work with that cannot cut through gloves faster than a blink of an eye.. my worst scars were gotten through heavy gloves..

My first bad scar working in metal fab was from a polishing wheel catching a piece of stainless.. when it spiked me to the bone it looked like my gloves were bleeding.. ;)

I've never seen anyone working on cars before so it was interesting to see some of the techniques. And, best of all, a female. As the commercial used to say, "You've come a long way baby."
