hi im from germany and i saw some videos of bikes with led´s on the rimes. i have no idea how this works because of the wire or is it wireless with batteries? can some tell me how it works? i want them so bad for my bike ;D

I want to wire up led's to come on with my turn signal so the entire side of my bike blinks. Would I just need to buy some strips and wire them in with my signals? I don't want a remote or anything, just a "whole-bike turn signal".

@bithcarka, you can get waterproof led stripes (20 leds) from ebay for about 3euros each, they even come with adhesive tape, then is a matter of powering them from the fuse box, the horn fuse is the best place to use them because it is rarely used, if they are hooked to the headlight the draw of the main beam will dim your leds

I had a drag star with more than 200 leds installed a few years ago, blue leds work at 3.5 V +or- so in serial arrays of 3 + a resistor (about 135omhs) you get a current draw of 20mA a typical moto battery goes between 8 and 14 Amp/H. so 200 blue leds in 66 arrays of 3 will draw 1.3Amps you can let them on with the bike turned off for periods of 3, 4 hours safely. I used to leave the leds on on the drag whenever i was on a bar just to show off... :P
