Say I was willing to put the money into it because it was a gift from my father who had passed away. What mods would I need to get it to atleast 45 mph?

@dustinscheidl reaching 60 mph is probably not possible unless u have a gsr60 motor.
60mph is quite a bit faster than most people think. a gsr46 with just a pipe and gearing will let u reach 50+ mph no problem and than is more than plenty fast on a ped.

@123DerekShort im about to buy a gsr40 and i cant find anyone selling a gsr 46 should i just buy a better moter what do you recomend i just want the cheapest way to get to 60mph

fastest ive seen a 40 go was about 45 or so. maybe 50 if its fully built to the max

was that motor really stock???? its hard to believe a stock 460 got 56. that has to have porting

@sharkkeepit55 nope believe it or not this motor is bone stock and it was my fastest 460 i ever owned. i ran that motor into the ground several times, pushed it to the limit several times and still it ask's no beggs for more! this motor was my greatest 460 i have owned. Yes it was bone stock believe it or not! oh and that motor ran harder than some of my fully built 460's. its just the luck of the draw. some motors are just beast! some are not.

I have a gsr26r with the g260rc engine and was wondering what mods could i put on it to get it up to around 45 or 50 mph?

ditch that motor and put a gp460 on that ped with a pipe.
u will have to put tons of money into ur 260 to get it anywhere close to 45-50 mph and it still wont be as fast as a 460 will. and u will save alot more money by putting a 460 on it. vs putting tons of money into ur 260.
