First minutes of a TV1 news bulletin 1985 (going by the News sig although Tom Bradley was more TV2?). Includes Air Albatross crash,Colin Moyle Minister of Agriculture, Rotoura school kids poisoned with copper sulphate, Jim Knox, John Kirk, reporter Bill Ralston. BTW according to wikipedia Air Albatross crash survivor Cindy "Mosey went on to become an accomplished gymnast and in her 30's was three times world champion kitesurfer (2002, 2003 & 2004)."

THANK YOU! This story means a lot to me, because I was to be on that plane that day. I've thought about Cindy Mosey, wondered what became of her. We are both survivors. Just a few minutes prior to boarding in Christchurch I impulsively altered my ticket to postpone the 2nd leg. When I got off in Nelson I waved to the pilot beginning his shift that day, as the plane refueled and passengers boarded. I'll never forget my boyfriend phoning to console my family. Life is precious and unpredictable! x
