Nice job. It looks almost identical to the set that was just released.
-
How did you do that
-
Did you know Disneyland is making a toy like that one
-
@STNautilus are you in LA? Do you want to show me how to do it? I wanna make them all
-
Whats the name of this toon?
-
@1foxtrot70 they are, the current models are the red stripe and teal blue
-
What kind of paint did you use? was it model paint with the air can as a compressor or just a krylon fusion spraypaint? Any trouble with runoff into the tiny little grooves when you tape-off?

Hey, I drive the monorail at Disneyland and I've been collecting Disney monorails since I was 7 years. How did you make that one. I love it and want one

I cut off the nose cones of the original and replaced them with new ones. The new nose cones were made out of vacuum-formed plastic castings I did over a foam carving that matches the profile of the new trains. I installed lights at each end of the new nose cones that run off the battery. The nose cones were attached, sanded, and the entire thing was given a snazzy coat of paint and sticker windows.

I cut off the nose cones and replaced them with new ones that represent the Mark VII look with a new lighting package. A quick sanding and a coat of paint with some detailing rounded out the rebuilt
