I have never liked Gordon but the guy is a four-time champion for a reason. I believe Gordon, Johnson, and Mark Martin will be contend for the championship by the end of the year. Sorry Jr. Nation, the reality is Jr. is the 4th tier at Hendrick.
Last night Darlington was a nail-biter. JJ coming from 42nd and a lap down early to finish 2nd, Gordon coming back from a lap down for a top 5, and Martin winning was an overall good day for the top three drivers at Hendrick.

Right now with Gordon's 82 wins and 4 Winston Cup championships I will agree with you. When both men's careers are done who knows what the overall outcome will be.
I have never been a Gordon fan but respect what the man has done. As a Johnson fan, I feel he will win a couple more championships himself and eclipse 50 wins in the next two years.
Either way, Gordon and Johnson are still the top dogs at Hendrick regardless of what the Dale Jr. nations says.

naw I have to disagree I like jimmie but I don't hes better than jeff. yes jimmie has 3 in arow but he didn't have a snow ball chance in hell of beating jeff in 2007 but I will give it to jimmie he pulled out the wins when it counted the most but I give jimmie credit for that I like jimmie don't get me wrong but i think jeff is better

Who do you think you are Nostradamus? First of all on your profile page, you have spelled Jimmie incorrectly. I like Gordon as well, but the Lowes Chevrolet a WHOLE lot more. Hey Gordon, the object in your mirror(Lowe's 48) is closer than it appears...
