T-Rex Motorcycle Trike in Daytona Beach, Bike Week 2007

This was a quick shot of a T-Rex on the streets of Daytona Beach. I was riding out for the sights during Bike Week 2007 and caught this vehicle at the traffic light. I'm not sure what happened to the color. The camera is a CVS hacked for multiple use. The passenger or driver told me that the vehicle sells for fifty thousand dollars new, but they want "only" thirty-eight for it. Since I was in my velomobile, he said "you wouldn't have to pedal!"

@Robf3433,. at the time (4 years ago) there was a for sale sign on it. I'd expect it's long sold though.

Does anyone know how to get a license for it? Ive searched up and down the CA DMV for three-wheel vehicles and cant find anything

@boricuamm707, I can't say for certain for CA, but in FL and many other US states, it's a motorcycle and requires a motorcycle operator's endorsement on the license. Some trainers toss in a "three-wheeled motorcycle" only restriction if you've tested for the endorsement with a three-wheeled motorcycle, as my wife did, but Florida doesn't have that limitation.

Yea I was looking at those last Saturday in Daytona.. They are selling for $47,999 for the V13R which has the Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle 110 engine. This one, I think, has the Suzuki or Kawasaki engine in it.

This requires a motorcycle license.

Neat machine no doubt but it does'nt compare with a harley on the open road with the wind in your face! but I bet it's a hell of a lot of fun to drive
