This is fucking awesome. Listening to a CD and a live performance are completely different things, of course it would sound "shitty" if this was the CD version because you don't have the experience of the band in front of you and dancing with the crowd in that huge explosion of energy that is a concert. I guarantee you no one in the audience would of walked away from that show thinking "Gee, Cedric was a little flat.:

Wow. Cedric pretty much blows on this. He's flat 90% of the time, and out of breath pretty much the entir time. Thank god he learned to mellow the fuck out on stage in the last two or three years. Showmanship is great, but not if it compromises your vocal performance that much. Jump around some, but make sure you can still hit the fucking notes.

Nah, Cedric kicks ass on this. ATDI was never about singing or playing the music perfectly. It was about intensity and raw fury. One of the greatest live acts ever imo. What they lacked in "ability" or musical performance they made up for with pure energy and that's what made them so great.

@Embroglio89

I completely disagree. I think, yeah, energy is great, but if this is really what ATDI was all about, why didn't they sound this flat and out of breath on the album? Why didn't they try and duplicate this sound inthe studio? Because it sounds shitty.

Like I said, pure anything isn't my cup of tea. Balance. Everything is about balance. I go to concerts for the energy, yeah, but also to acually hear my favorite bands sound good.

Fair enough. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I happen to think it sounds pretty lackluster, especially compared to the album version. I dunno. I'm trying not to be an elitist douchebag, but I'm 99% sure he's flat on a lot of the notes, and I have trouble comprehending how singing off key sounds good to anyone, that's all.
