Yes, you can reflash a 2ZZ-GE ecu. Ask Toyota. There no problem with hp on the Mr-S. You can grap 315 easy if you know what you are doing. Yakboy you are full of shit.

The 2zz's from toyota are not reflashable. A piggy back or standalone (normally PFC is preferred) are required.

if it didn't have the Toyota badges i would swear it was a Porsche. I have a 93 mr2 and love it so much really hope they come out with a new mr2 soon

Could, but it isn't worth the hassle. Celica GTS' 2ZZGE swaps in and you can always boost that. It's hard to explain this to you without you having driven one but...a 2ZZ MR-S is already VERY fast.
