@BILLYBOBSTUNES it's an EL00. They have them at Musicians Friend for $300. I like it pretty good plugged in. It has a Fishman under saddle pickup... it doesn't sound too good just acoustic

Those are not John D. Loudermilk's lyrics. You just covered Nina Simone's version of the song, adding a country twang. Why isn't the original represented anywhere on youtube?

@jaydubbydub You've just exhibited more information about the song than I ever possessed. I was actually interested in singing it in hopes my wife would learn it, because of the recent Norah Jones cover.... she isn't interested... I think people look at it now as a how-to for a simple guitar accompaniment for the song.

@cluelocker Sorry for being snotty about it. I had just watched the video after a search for said version and was disappointed with my findings. In Loudermilk's version he mentions a puppy waiting to bay and a juke box waiting to play and is slightly and pleasantly more yearning for his love instead of assertive, just a bit more true to the spirit of the song, lyrically. I will say that Nina Simone's version is still lovely. I believe you can find Loudermilk's lyrics on the internet somewhere.

@jaydubbydub He wrote a lot of admirable songs and was a good performer in his own right.
