Jim Garling sings this fun, light-hearted song written by Dave Stamey, a great entertainer and writer of western music. The song takes a look at the trappings that a man might feel he has to have to be a "hero" that people would look up to. The song evokes the names of famous "heroes" of the B western movies--Tom Mix, Lone Ranger, John Wayne, Lash LaRue, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers.
