  • Good job, your voice reminds me a bit of Paul McCartney. Also I agree with one of the other posters comments I like the sound of that guitar

  • Thanks very much - Paul is my all-time favorite musical artist, so I take the comment to heart.

This guitar is fun to play!

  • good cover...i'm a big fan of Mr. griffin too!! since i was 13 y.o.

  • You have me beat - I didn't discover Jimmy's voice until around 1980 - I was 25 at the time! :)

  • great job Fran! very nice work vocally and with the strings. Ovation, is it?

  • Hi - Yes - an Ovation Elite LX - it's my favorite guitar right now. Thanks for the nice comments. I do appreciate them very much.

  • nice i like this song good job!

  • I would love to here Jimmy sing and play this tune. It has the David Bowie sound but the James Griffin chemistry behind it. Jimmy's music still rocks on. It always will. He will be an amazing man to meet when I leave this this whacked out world we live in. There are to many things that are going on this crazy planet. I escape that craziness and come into the world of James Griffin. He's at peace now and I will be jamming along with him in Heaven someday. What a reason to believe in God.

  • Good choice! 8 track memories. Listened to this over and over. Learned to love that eerie sound.

  • great great job! I have always adored this song- another 'me' song.

  • Wow Fran! Yet another of my favourites by Jimmy. You sound brilliant. Jimmy would've been delighted - your vocals really do sound similar to his. Hey - have you checked out Paul Cotton (from Poco) doing 'Indian Summer'? He not only resembles Jimmy a bit, but I swear I could hear Jimmy sing this song. I loved Poco years ago - check it out. June
