@missystu Yeah! My dad and I play archtops-We have between us a burst L5 Wes and a wine red Tal Farlow reissue from Gibson(both are obviously made in Nashville)They are absolutely wonderful guitars and we both love Gibsons as much as the next guy(s).
We also have between us a blonde Heritage Golden Eagle,(reg.#52)..A burst H-550 and a burst Super Eagle CES.The Heritage guitars' workmanship blows the Gibsons away! I can't believe I'm saying it,but it's true.Beautifully made guitars!

Nice!

If you cranked that up through a Twin Reverb, would you get that fat Louis Stewart/ Greg Clayton Super 400 tone?

Heritage is going to making the D'Angelico New Yorker. Big News!!!!! They just finalized the contract.

please answer the acoustic question..thanks

the golden eagle was the best guitar i´ve ever played! i just strummed a simple open-string chord and the amazing sound blew me right out of my shoes (and socks!). those guitars are 20 times better than any piece of gibson!
I know that. That's my point. When Gibson moved to Nashville to make "factory production" junk, Heritage stayed behind to continue making "Hand-bult QUALITY" INSTRUMENTS.

Don't know about that, I have an L4CES and you can't be a circa '60s or '80s L5.
Dollar for dollar based on today's Gibson, I agree with you Heritage is a better made guitar and remember once upon a time the people at Heritage were making Gibson guitars.
