The doctor who delivered the twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann, says the actress, the babies and Jolie's partner, actor Brad Pitt, "are doing marvelously well." (July 13)The waiting is finally over for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.... The celebrity couple are now the proud parents of twins....A baby boy named Knox Leon and a girl named Vivienne Marcheline ---Doctors say Pitt and Jolie --- along with their two newborns --- are all doing marvelously well....Jolie had a Cesarian section Saturday night in the hospital in the town where she's staying in the south of France.The procedure was moved forward from its originally planned date so that the babies could be born in the best conditions.Pitt was said to be present during the operation.The hospital released a statement prior to the birth, saying that the staff had made it impossible to see inside the room....And that any pictures released of the birth would be obviously posed fakes by a frenzied paparazzi.Jolie is expected to stay in the hospital a few more days --- Pitt and the couple's four other children have also taken up residence in France while their mom recovers. ___ ___, The Associated Press.
