The transformation of San Francisco's freeway-dominated Central Corridor
into a pedestian-oriented ecodistrict was the focus of SWA Group's 2012
Summer Program for grad school interns. With valuable input from the City
Planning Department and other outside experts, students from leading
universities offered well-thought ideas with real-world potential, which the
Planning staff welcomed as part of their research into a final
implementation concept. Our thanks and congratulations to students:

Tim Campbell of the University of Texas
Tina Chee of the University of Southern California
Jihee Chung of Iowa State
Frank Hu of Harvard
Katherin Jenkins of the University of Virginia
Gwendolyn McGinn also of the University of Virginia
Jessica Rossi-Mastracci of the University of Pennsylvania
