Crazy. I only watched this video once, at a friend's house when I was maybe seven or eight years old, yet this final song left a profound impression on me. I remember being swept up in a near-religious fervor about the importance of becoming a kid for character, although in reality this video is more of an advertisement for various children's media properties of the mid-90s. I was thinking about this recently and a quick Google led me right to this clip. Thanks for uploading.

@123thecoolstuff Youtube took 4 and 5 off because somebody owned the copyright to some music in each part. One of the others that had Kids For Character on YouTube told on me. Not nice character.

This song is kind of like a "We are the world" for kids.

"We are the world" was originally named "We are the the children"- the exact same words and melody and instrument music. In 1972 I watched Lionel Richie listen to a brown-haired girl sing it in pratice for a performance that evening. After listening to it Lionel Richie said to that girl: "That is beautiful I never heard anything like that before." In 1985 I watched a press conference where Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie both lied saying they had originated that song.
