I loved how the tv show was completely different. I preferred the book because the time displacement phenomenon was much better explored, but which ever a person would preferr they could enjoy the show and the novel completely separately because the plots don't relate in anyway at all. Conciousness went forward 21 years in the novel, so the pace was much different as well. It's such a bitch that they cancelled the show, but i suppose it only had a huge following and international appeal...

Viewed from a Tralfamadorian perspective, the series FlashForward has/is/will be an infinitely running series that is protected by any attempt of the network suits from a "causality cancellation" of the show. Alpha-Omega-Alpha. Repeat.
