Definitely agree. I have only had experience with the swiss models (my tempora is a great beat up watch). I have to say, the F1 watches just LOOK cheap. Especially that model with the digital/analog dial. What were they thinking? its not even an LCD readout display!

Definitely go for the swiss models though (the ones which actually say SWISS Made around the 6 index).

the thing about jaques lemans is you just dont know what your going to get, the all swiss decent quality or one of the asian models and there is a big difference. and whats with the inflated retail prices 650 on sale for 129.00 I just bought a 1970gmt supposed to have a swiss mvnt. but it doesnt say swiss anywhere on the watch it also came with a real crappy box almost to the point of emberressment for a gift. The watch itself is not bad but its only worth what I paid and not a dollar more.

I have F-5034C I Love this watch :)

Great thing about them because they use Seiko's movements, and we all know what Seiko means in terms of watch moevements. So you get a swiss-japanesse watch. Whick is truly a great combination .

Im 14 and I just got my first Jacques Lemans F1 watch. I am so happy with it. It's only a little too big for my arms, but it will fit soon. Jacques lemans makes the best watches :)
