Jupiter and three of it's moons using my Zhumell 8" Dobsonian telescope and LifeCam VX3000 webcam. The VX3000 is not very good for astrophotography, but it is fun to play around with it.

  • Interesting to see two moons juxtaposed like that.

  • @juniortore Yes. you'll be able to see more detail in the cloud belts on this planet. Jupiter is overexposed in this video compared to how you'd see it in a telescope.

  • Is it clearer in real life?

  • Awesome shot, just ordered an 8" zhumell dob the other day, can't wait to try it out.

  • hmm looks like my view tonight on jupiter. just the details were switched, moons like "tiny-stars" and jupiter little detailed, saw those red clowds around jupiter. my scope is a bresser galaxia 114/900, i just used the 25mm ocular with some 3x barlow. can't get him realy long in focus because of those damn houses around the backgarden :(

  • thanks Galileo! lol

  • Very good video.
