Chrono Trigger LLG XXVI: Great Ozzie, Super Slash, Flea Plus

Our last boss battle before we check if we have the guts to take on all the enemies in the Black Omen.

This is also somewhat easy. There are two dangers in this battle, one is Slash, whose counterattacks and normal techniques do quite a lot of damage. He also, together with Flea, has the least HP, therefore it seems logical that he should be taken out before anyone else.

Another danger is their triple technique, which easily knocks out the entire party. Fortunately, it's of shadow element and we've got two shadow absorbing pieces of armour. In this battle I get rid of Slash before they can pull it off together.

Frog has great damage potential (with his powered up Masamune and Prism Specs) and together with Ayla his Double Kick does amazing damage.

I had Crono use a Lapis on the party before being killed by a counterattack and I didn't bother reviving him, because the damage he is able to deal is not all that impressive.

Since Slash counters the character, whose technique menu you accessed, I thought it'd be a good idea to wait for him to do his normal attack, then access the menu of the undamaged character (in this case, Frog). The plan worked and Slash went down quickly.

Once Slash is dead, Flea, uh, flees, no pun intended, and Ozzy just stands there. Some bosses these guys are.

how do you get magus ultimate weapon? A walkthrough said check the back wall when you fight ozzie for the last time i his crystalised form. But I cant do anything.

The problem with Crono is that he has an awful hit rate and misses enemies way too often. He is the most useless character in the game since you just let him die and forget about him, but there are quite a few exceptions where he shines.
